Letter [in French] from the Princess of Wales to Mrs. Clayton [GEO/ADD/28/136] reporting that Princess Amelia is very ill and that she is determined to follow the advice of 'your freind' [sic] [presumably Dr Freind] even if her daughter does not choose to do so, and asking Mrs Clayton to find out from the doctor whether the operation should be made on the back or the arm; with transcription in French and English translation [GEO/ADD/28/017].
