Sir Samuel Hood to General Jacob de Budé, describing the situations and movements of the French and British fleets in the West Indies, reporting that he has had to borrow food supplies from the Army on account of the Navy's supplier's ineptitude, and remarking on the poor condition of a number of British ships, largely caused by bad weather.
