My dearest Son. I would not be kind to let your Servant go away without an answer to the very affectionate letter I have just recieved from You: I trust my Prudence will not forsake me upon this occasion & that Your readiness to take my advice as well as Your Secret will be Kept close by me: & that You shall alone enjoy the Credit of such a Step. I shall be very happy to see You on Saturday next & to have the pleasure of assuring You by word of mouth how Sincerely I am my dearest Son Your affectionnate Mother & Friend Charlotte Windsor the 6th/ June 1811.
