William is glad to know that Lord Mayo, Bell [Lady Mayo] and Susan [Mrs Smith?] are in England - seeing relatives in Brighton, first, and then, going to Bersted House [South Bersted, Sussex; home of Susan Smith his sister in law and widow of Thomas Smith of Bersted Lodge]. William is now in London on account of Don Miguel [Miguel I of Portugal] - and will be in London when Lord Mayo decides to visit William and the Duchess [Adelaide].
