[1849?]

Young, Charles George, Sir; Garter Principal King-of-Arms

Description

Following on from the previous letter, Young confirms to have replied to the Hanoverian Embassy denying the possibility of having a private carriage to follow [Queen Adelaide's funeral procession].
He received a letter from Lord Howe [Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, 1st Earl Howe] which is an answer for Lord Fitzroy Somerset [Field Marshal FitzRoy James Henry Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan?] who forward a request of the Duchess of Saxe-Weimar [Princess Ida of Saxe-Meiningen] for the Guard of Honor at the Priory to be dispensed with.
Young explains other instructions given for the funeral ceremony.
