Date Created

20 April 1825

Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of

Description

Asking Daniell to communicate to Mrs Cottin [Lavinia, widow of Mr Cottin, Second Major to the Royal Spelthorne Legion] that William will not have time to write to Lord Combermere [Field Marshal Stapleton Cotton, 1st Viscount Combermere] about her relations in India.
Because of the irregularity of the post William has not received yet any recent accounts of Bushy and the Park: he asks about works in progress or to be done to different rooms in Bushy and in the apartments in St James's.
