Letter to the Queen of Persia My Beloved Sister. In the moment of anxious solicitude to receive favourable intelligence of your Majesty's Health and Prosperity your Majesty's Letter was presented to me by the Dignified and Exalted in Rank Mirza Abul Hassan This communication from your Majesty afforded Me great satisfaction. May out mutual Friendship and regard continue and receive additional force by the interchange of reciprocal offices of kindness The Presents which your Majesty sent as Tokens of regard and Friendship by the above mentioned dignified Mirza have been received by Me with the Sentiments which they were intended to cultivate and improve By the hands of the King's Trusty and Well-beloved Sir Gore Ouseley Baronet Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentary to the King of Persia I have sent some of the Manufactures and produce of this Country for your Majesty's Acceptance together with my Portrait which I have presented to your Majesty as a particular testimony of My Regard I have great Pleasure in assuring your Majesty that the Dignified Mirza Abul Hassan has conducted Himself during his residence in this Country
