St: James's. Octr: 15th: 1822 Dear Sir, On my return late last Sunday from Portsmouth I found the Box you requested me to present to His Majesty in your name. The next day it was delivered by a careful Orderly Hussar to the Gentleman in waiting on the King. I wrote a letter to my brother explaining the particulars as you desired of the Box. I have thus long delayed writing to you because I had expected some message for yourself.
