It extends from ye. 42d. to ye. 51st. Deg. of N. Lat. & above 11. Deg. of Long. ye. Air of France is healthy & temperate, being neither troubl'd with ye. excessive cold of ye. Northern Nations, nor ye. intence heats of Spain & Italy. [[deletion]] this is [[unclear]] reason it has [[/deletion]] [[deletion]] so great plenty of Corn, Wine, Oil & [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] . It would be a great instance of negligence whilst talking of these Rivers, not to mention ye. Canal made in ye. Reign of Lewis XIV. by which [[unclear]] passage is made between ye. Atlantick Ocean & ye. Mediterranean. As to Mountains. ye. Alps divides France from Italy; ye. Pyrenees from Spain, & ye. Cevennes Run thro' Lower Languedoc to Auvergne.
