Formidable April 11th. 1782 my dear Sir My only reason for desiring you & your squadron may change stations, with Mr. Drake & his, was from their having suffered so much in the action on the 9th. and to give you & them time, to put in repair--but depend upon it the moment you wish to have those directions altered it shall be done--I propose to make moderate sail in the order of sailing this night, we can easily form from that-- yours affectionately GB Rodney Copy Saml Hood Sir Samuel Hood Barf.
