Since your Sailing I have sent a small Squadron down to the Musquito Shore and have the pleasure to inform you, that the Squadron and Troops which accompanied them, have retaken For Dalling and the Settlement of Black River; Fort Falling was stormed and 65 Spaniards out of 67 were fall’d by the Indians, the remainder of the Spanish Troops at Black River, amounting to Seven hundred Capitulated; the Squadron captured only one Palacne Ship with Provisions and a few Soldiers. This Letter will be delivered to you by Capt Hulle of His Majestys Sloop Du Quay Trouin, and I am to request you will dispatch him back for this Place as soon as possible, as I shall be very anxious for his arrival.
