Howard was Created Duke of Norfolk, His Son Sr Thomas Howard Earl of Surry. Lord Lovel a Viscount, & Lrd Stanley who had become obnoxious to Richard by opposing His views & also by Marry- ing the Countess Dowager of Richmond, was set at Liberty & made Lrd Chamberlain. The Duke of Buckingham was installed in the Office of Constable, & obtained a Grant of the Hereford Estate which he laid Claim to & had been seized by the Sovereigns of the House of York after the forfeiture of the House of Lancaster.
