My dearest Son. I am extreamly happy to renew Our Correspondence, & let the Matter be ever so Gay or ever so Serious, that Matters not to me, Provided it gives me but an Opportunity to assure You of my Affection I shall always Seize with Pleasure & delight. I shall now acknowledge the Receipt of Yr Letter accompanied with a Packet that Demands a Name which I may think, but must not permit myself to Spell & I perfectly agree with You, that the Contents of it demand [[deletion]] a [[/deletion]] very Serious attention. I am at present however of oppinion that the Expressions are too Strong & too Personal, as to be put into the Hands of the Kg who so little deserves them, & wish very very much that Ministers should represent it to Him at once in such a Light as to make Him see the Necessity of taking it up which I fear my ignorance in Public
