My dearest Son. If You had given me an opportunity to Speak to You at Windsor I should not have been under the Necessity of giving You the Trouble of a Letter. Inclosed I send You some Letters which I received some Time ago not indeed with any Idea of their proving propitious to those who wrote them , but as I think it just to them. You will see [[deletion]] th [[/deletion]] by their Names that I claim acquaintance with none but one. but even was it otherwise I have not vanity to think that could [[deletion]] be [[/deletion]] make any material alteration. I shall answer none by Miss Bruhls out of regard to Her Mother, & Should the Others make any inquiry will You be so obliging as to say I sent the Letters. I am my dearest Son. Yr very affectionnate Mother & Friend. Charlotte Queens Lodge Windsor the 21st Octbr 1794.
