My dearest Son. I am this moment put in pofsefsion of one of the finest Prints I ever saw for which I work words to exprefs my Gratitude as well as the pleasure it has occasioned me. This was indeed a very [[underlined]] agreeable [[/underlined]] Surprise, & [[foreign:french]] toute la Bande joyeuse [[/foreign]] by which I mean Your Sister, are in hopes that You will sometimes hence treat them with the same present. I wrote this Morning to You & find Our Letter have Crofesd upon the Road, I must always feel sincere regret in being deprived of Your Compant but particularly so upon this Occasion when I had flattered myself to join altogether in Celebrating a Birthday which [[unclear]] Time twelve Month we had so little reason to expect of doing again. & in which I am sure You most heartily Concur. I will now not detain You any longer upon this Subject as I am sure You will always act right. I beg once
