Under these Circumstances You will not be surprised that as it stands now I must decline to agree to this arrangement, & flatter myself that Mr P upon reflecting over what I have said will arrange matters in a manner that I can fulfill both my Duty to the King & to myself without concurring the Censure of the World. As to Yourself I feel no words are adequate to express my gratitude for the Liberality You have shown upon this occasion towards me, it will ever be engraven on the Heart of My dearest Son Yr ever affectionate Mother & Friend Charlotte Windsor the 31st.
