the Queen to the Prince Regent 22d. July 1815 My dearest Son. This Morning I was agreably surprised by a Pacquet of letters from Germany. The Duke of Cumberland writes cheerfully & happy but in His usual Stile Damns the Armistice and expects some further difficulties in His journey to the Different Royal Personages He means to go to, fully determined however not to follow the Emperor to Prague nor the King of Prussia to the Bath's in Silesia, & He ends with assuring me that He will come back to England without a Wife. I have also received a Letter from my Brother the Duke part of which I send You a Copy, as His own words must express His wishes as well as His wants & that [[addition]] of the [[/addition]] Country much better than I can do.
