[[underline]] Copy [[/underline]] 26th of May Connaught House The Princess of Wales has the [[unclear]] to acknowledge the Receipt of a Note from the Queen [[unclear]] Yesterday, and begs Permission to return [[unclear]] but Thanks to Her Majesty for Her gracious Consideration in the Willingness assessed by Her Majesty to have Communicated to the Illustrious Strangers who will in all Probability be present at Her Majesty's Court, the Reasons which have induced Her Royal Highness not to be present, such Communication it appears to [[unclear]] cannot be the less [[unclear]] on Account of any [[unclear]] which it maybe in the power of [[unclear]] to give to Her [[unclear]] and the Princess therefore entreats the Active good Offices of Her Majesty upon an Occasion wherein the Princess [[catchword]] of [[/catchword]]
