Thanking Lord Arran for the hospitality during her last visit. Augusta is glad she did not put off her visit to Bognor for her health's sake as she feels better.
She suggests a book for Lady Arran: 'Tales of My Time' from the same author of 'Blue-Stocking Hall' [Scargill, William Pitt, 1787-1836].
