The King [William IV] asked the Queen to invite Lady and Lord Ely to dinner that evening - the Queen would appreciate if Lady Ely could attend upon her at the same time since Lady Brownlow [Lady of the Bedchamber] and Miss Mitchell [Maid of Honour] will not be able to.
