Title

Letter from George III, written at the Queen's House, on various matters

Date Created

12 April 1788

Creator

George III, King

Description

The King complains that, despite telling William to make an application to Colonel [George] Hotham, he is still referring, for that purpose, to Captain Elphinstone [George Keith Elphinstone, 1st Viscount Keith]. He mentions £400 that the Captain [Elphinstone] said he will procure. The plates [see GEO/ADD/4/119] will soon be sent to Plymouth on a wagon. The King will see Colonel [Hotham] with the accounts of a Quarter the following week.
