Description

Returning the gardener's account. He believes [Sir John] Barton will write soon to Mrs Hurt - even if things will not be settled for a couple of days. He hopes the delay of Mrs Jemmett will not cause inconveniences; Daniell will, anyway, stay in the Upper Lodge. Daniell will also need to enquire about General Stevenson's book.
William is feeling better and hopes he will soon be able to attend to his private and public duties.
