Description
The King is glad to know that William's arm is recovering and also that he admits to have behaved improperly.
The King is worried about William's safety in the West Indies, on account of a recent movement of the French Fleet; he, thus, suggests that William would be put on board Lord [Samuel] Hood if Admiral [Robert] Digby cannot go to the West Indies. The King hopes William will not miss a chance to learn as much as possible of nautical knowledge.
He concludes announcing the death of little Prince Alfred and the effect its having on the Queen.
