Title
Letter from the Duke of Clarence to J.W. Daniell, written in Ems
Date Created
4 July 1826
Creator
Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of
Description
Although he does not have anything to reply to, William writes to ask Daniell to give instructions to Elphick to make the drains in various fields - once the hay has been harvested and cleared from them; he mentions other works to be done in other fields.
The Duchess [Adelaide] and Mary have been greatly benefited from the waters at Ems, and William himself is also feeling well. He is impressed by the very hot summer that reminds him of the West Indies; although he enjoys Germany he looks forward to come back.
