William reiterates his desire that Allen should be dismissed and Connor [?] kept, and that a new list of seeds is drawn by the new gardener - he entrusts Daniell, Barton and Padley with hiring the new gardener. William suggests what to say to dismiss Allen; he believes the park and farm will benefit from this. He asks to check with Mrs Oak that she is happy with the linen received.
