Congratulations on news from the Continent: 'Thank God that all is overcome now, & that no Party has failed to do their Duty & to stick to their Engagement. Much is still to be done, but The Hand of Providence has so Wisely directed all things & stood by Us at a moment when so much was to be feared, that I have a firm Confidence in His ['His' crossed out] the Continuation of his Assistance & Protection' Signed and dated at Windsor
