On assistance to her brother, Duke Charles II: 'the Attention You have shewn towards my beloved Country by Numbering it amongst those who are to be benefitted by the Generous Subscription of this Nation for the relief of the wretched Sufferers in this long & deplorable War: I feel it the more as I well informed that Mecklenbourg Strelitz without many resources has quietley laboured under very heavy distresses without Complaining, & yet is come forward with Heart & Soul & no Assistance whatever to support the good Cause & never once either by threats or Promises was seen to Shrink from acting right' Signed and dated at Windsor
