I take the liberty of offering You a locket which I hope You will do me the favour to accept - It is to contain the Hair of Your invaluable Mother and I would not let the Jeweller put in any Hair least it might be spoilt by Gum'; expresses her love for Mrs Feilding's mother [Lady Charlotte Finch] Signed Written on reverse in a different hand 'Pss Augusta with Locket 1813'
