Duty in Life to act up strictly to whatever one undertakes, I am now by that Principle call'd upon to consider, whither I am capable of fulfilling according to your Majesty's Wishes & Intentions, the Commands you express of having my Attendance [[underline]] increas'd [[/underline]] on the other days. The Attendance I have hitherto given has been regularly a double Daily Attendance of two & oftener three hours in the Morning & from before Seven in the Evening till dismiss'd by your Majesty, besides numberless Occasional & Additional Attendances; & I have ever made my own Concerns (except when of a particular or Melancholly Nature in which I shall ever acknowledge the Indulgencies I have met with from both your Majesties) give way to the Dutys of my Place, as every thing belonging to Me has Experienced. & now as I advance [[addition]] ^ more [[/addition]] in Years & very much decline in Spirits, how can I without deviating from my own Principles undertake an Additional duty of a kind for which I am conscious I am growing every day more unfit, as your Majesty must know what an uncommon Stock of Spirits & Cheerfulness is necessary to through the growing Attendance of so many & such very young People in their Amusements, as well as Behaviour and Instruction, besides ordering all the Affairs of a Nursery Therefore if your Majesty will be graciously pleas'd to signify
