Sir Henry Clinton to Sir George Rodney, re the likelihood of a French force arriving off the American coast shortly, reporting the dispatching of various British forces, his belief that enemy forces will make a concerted attack on New York and their likely numbers, and requesting that Rodney go to New York to assist the British cause.
