Thanks to some uneasiness in my Stomach I am enabled to write to my dear Ldy Charlotte for the remedy's of conquering such an Ennemy are of a Nature to procure one or rather to secure one a holiday at Home, no bad thing surely when it can be passed in pleasant occupations. Mine is to thank You for Your charming Letter, I am extremely happy for Ldy Mary Kerr's good Fortune, & hope that she will make good use of her Aunt's goodness to Her, & am well pleased to hear that the rest of the Family approve of what has been done in Her favour. Several People are of oppinion that this will hurry on a Match which has been talked of before & others think the Contrary, Time will shew that, & that Shortly for neither of the Partys are Young enough to put it off much longer. You do not mention Mrs Huttons having sold Her House for 7000 £ to Mr Pierpoint, it is reported as such & not unlikely to happen, but at the same time I pity Miss Harriet Finch losing Her Friends which She values so much
