[[underline]] about your Arms [[/underline]] and to stile yourself Knight [[underline]] and [[/underline]] Companion of the said Most Noble Order of the Garter And these Our Letters of Election shall be to you for the same your sufficient and full Authority. Given at Our Court at St. James's this day of May 1782, and in the twenty second Year of Our Reign. The above is nearly the Form used by King Charles 2d. during his residence abroad and after his Restoration, but the Chancellor of the Order must have more modern one in his Custody as they issued under the Seal of the Order. These Letters were prepared by the Chancellor of the Order.
