the Queen to the Prince of Wales 10th. June 1788. My dearest Son. To give You proof of my Sincerity I think it right to [[deletion]] say [[/deletion]] mention, that Since our Conversation on the Kings Birth Day about the Unfortunate Mrs Hesse. I have looked & find tht the Promise was not made to the Now Living Mister of Mrs Chetwin, but to Her that is Dead. That being the Case she can surely not be in the way of any Body, but the King from the beginning of my coming to England having desired me to keep every Place in my Family, as near to the Rank in which I found it, must of Course preclude the Person in question. I hope my Sincerity will [[deletion]] be received with [[/deletion]] meet with Your approbation [[deletion]] as [[/deletion]] Not be imported to any dislike of mine towards the Unfortunate Widow whose Distress no Body pities more Sincerely than I do.
