The Contents of Yr Letter [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] I received this Morning early, were Known to me last Night as the Kg upon opening His Letters mentioned the Request Ernest had made to go to Hannover & Brunsvie with Prince William, He said it was what He would not grant [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] got up to answer it immediately saying that the Army was the only Place where an Officer ought to remain [[underlined]] particularly [[/underlined]] when He Commanded a Regiment. that being he Case I hope You are aware that the present Moment would [[unclear]] be proper to interfere whatever I may feel upon the Subject. Inclosed I send a Letter from Mrs Scott & having done that give me leave to speak the Truth upon Her Subject - she is a Person who in my opinion will by no means Answer Yr [[unclear]]
