My dearest Son. I would have given the World to have seen You on Saturday last as I had so many things to say & would have wrote sooner had my head not been so stupid. I know that I shall have the pleasure of seeing You very soon at Windsor, but as every moment now becomes precious drawing nearer to the Princesses Confinement, I will not accuse myself of losing any Time in executing Yr Commissions. I saw Dr Underwood who tells me that besides Mrs Bower He has seen another lady who is the Wife of a Chymist. Herself of very reputable Parents, well brought up & [[addition]] a [[/addition]] very proper Person, for the Honor she aspires to, She has seen as You know Mrs Smith, likes Her Person much, & also Her Eldest Child, but not the second, which He says is forteen Month Old, very large Headed, & so Fat that it cannot walk. Her reckoning is out by the Middle of December, but should it happen as it frequently dos that she should go beyond her Time about 10 Days or a Fortnight She may in all likelihood not be fit to come when she is wanted.
