the Queen to the Prince of Wales 6th. August 1797. My dearest Son. According to my promise I sit Down to inform You that all my Fellow Travellers are in perfect good Health & Spirits, & that ever since The King has been here His Spirits & good hewmour have continued, He enjoys His bathing more than any body & assures Us that He never felt better after it than this year. The Place itself very full but few people that we know, except the Onslows, Grandisons, Petts, & Deamers, & Ldy Susan Ryder [[addition]] the Harringlons [[/addition]], & since last Night Dowager Ldy Sefton. the Number is very small as You see but, we have notwithstanding [[deletion]] we [[/deletion]] contrived to have Partys ever Night. We have been once at the Play & were tolerable Amused But Our Sea Excursions have not begun as the other Frigates were not come into Harbour, This Morning however one is arrive & if the Wheather peremits we are to Sail to morrow in the Bay only.
