My dearest Son. I will not leave London without returning You thanks for Yr kind Letter, & in Particular for the good account You give me of Yr state of Health. My fears about the Bath Winters being taken improperly are so great that I sent for Turton & ordered Him to write You good advice which I hope You have received by this Time & need not add how much I wish You to follow His Prescriptions. Comparisons between the Metropolis & Bath would I suppose be less Majestic: but I may be -- allowed to say that what Yr present Habitation is to Dull, London I fear is to gay for the Health & Strength of many of the Young ladies, for there are at least five or six more a comming so thick one after another for fear of the beaut going away, that those who go to all must have Herculean Strength to bear up with the Fatigue.
