I have the Pleasure to inform You my dearest Son of the safe arrival of dear little Charlotte. This I meant to have done Yesterday, but a Sailing Day admits of Nothing but idleness, & the Wind proving favourable for such an Excursion I was obliged to Submit. The dear little Angel Slept well & at 1/2 past 8 a Clock I made Her my Visit & She walked between the Kg & me to the Lodge where She attended Our Breakfast, then sow Us prepare to go on board the [[unclear]] & when we went away I left Her with Sophia & Shmelia who were to take Her & ldy Elgin an Airing on the Lands, but She dropt Asleep before Eleven & Slept till past two a Clock which was by for more refreshing for Her little Spirits, at my return on Shore I saw Her walk, & to Day She is preparing for Her Bathing & consequently not to go out, I shall pay Her my
