My dearest Son. Again are my Hopes & wishes frustrated in passing this Day in Your Company but the Absent You are notwithstanding Present both in my Mind & [[underline]] Heart [[/underline]]. The latter cannot but wish You well at all Times, & feels always happy to seize every opportunity of renewing to You the most Sincere, & Affectionate assurances of my [[underline]] unseizing love [[/underline]] & attachment. Even upon this [[addition]] Day [[/addition]] I shall add no more, for in that, I should do Injustice to myself, as every Day & every Second of the Year I am unalterable in those Sentiments & I trust that You put Confidence in what I say. One wish [[addition]] more [[/addition]] however You will allow me not to suppress which is that You may see many happy returns of this Day [[addition]] attended [[/addition]] with every blessing possible this World can procure to which none would feel more happy to Contribute than My dearest Son Your ever Affectionnate Mother & Friend Charlotte Weymouth the 11th August 1805
