My dearest Son. As there was a Prospect of seing You Yesterday after the Review I did not return the inclosed which comes herewith, Were You as well acquainted [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] with the D. of B. Stile of writing, as we are in this House, You would not feel Surprized upon the Subject, She writes to every Body alike, Short, just as She Speaks, the King not excepted, & this Note to You is longer then in common, & I am sure means to say, that being Confined, She would not be an Obstacle, to Your intended journey: nor put you to any inconvenience on Her account. This is truely my opinion [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] I have not Shewn the Note of the Kg, I told him of it, but no remark was made. I have Made many Blunders in this Note, but fear to be too late for the Mefsenger therefore it must go, & beg You to believe me unalterably. Yr ever affectionnate Mother & Friend.
