Windsor November 10th 1811. The Queen has learnt with satisfaction from the Communication made in writing by their Council dated the 4th Instant & which was delivered to Her Yesterday by the A.B. of Canterbury that the Arrangement which she had directed on the 27th October, as stated in Her Letter of that date, with a view to relieve Dr Willis from the unnecessary Disturbance of his Nights Rest, had met the wishes of Her Council. Her Majesty has given due Consideration to the Proposal of Her Council that they should be permitted to Call to the Assistance of Dr R. Willis in the Discharge of His important & laborious Duties, the Skill & Experience of Dr John Willis, & She is too well convinced of the anxious Zeal & the Solicitude for the King's Recovery & Welfare by which Her Council are actuated, not to feel desirous of Cooperating with them in whatever Measure may in Her Opinion, be conducive to an object so justly dear to Herself, & not to prove such Disposition by the early Decision upon One which They so earnestly recommend. The Council are in full Possession of the Objections which the Queen had made to similar Proposals upon former occasions, they have equally been made aware of the Principles upon which Her Majesty so long resisted them, & they cannot but have perceived the Difficulty with which She waved Her Scruples to the extent even of suffering Drs J. Willis & Simmons to [[underline]] have access to His Majesty's Apartment [[/underline]] as Consulting Physician. They have learnt from subsequent Communications
