Prejudices - She has waved Her Scruples, She has rendered Her own Duty subservient to that which Her advisers stated to be theirs But there are Certain bounds beyond which Concession cannot be carried without becoming not less disgraceful, than it must appear to Her a most reprehensible Abandonment of the Charge imposed, & there are also certain Points upon which the Queen is Confident that She shall stand justified in the Eyes of Her Family & of the whole Country, in encreasing Her own Judgement, particularly as Her object has invariably been to combine the Admission of that which may prove useful to the King in His Melancholy State with that which shall not prove destructive of his remaining comfort - Nor can it be said that the Queen is guilty of Presumption in opposing Her judgement in this Instance to the United Opinions of Her Advisers, as it is unfortunately too well known that She has had the melancholy Experience of three Illnesses by which the King had been Afflicted previously to the present, & as She has possessed in each the same means of Information which She now
