[[note]] Copy. Windsor Novr. 15th. 1811 [[/note]] The Queen sincerely lament that in acknowledging ye. Communication from Her Council of the 12 Instant received yesterday, She cannot refrain from noticing particularly that part of it which although they state that they have no present Intention whatever to recommend the Introduction of any other Person than Dr John Willis to the Management of the Kings Management, they clearly admit that such Intention may be entertained, by remonstrating against the Exclusion of any Man whom they may hereafter deem Capable of affording His Assistance which by their previous mention of Dr Simmons, They as clearly point him out to be the Man in their Contemplation. When the Queen took the painful Resolution of assenting to the Proposal of Her Council that Dr J. Willis should be admitted to cooperate with His Brother, She had flattered Herself with the hope that in Consideration of all that She had stated upon that occasion, & all She had stated upon previous occasions, in Consideration of the sacrifice of Her own feelings which the Council admit to have been made to their earnest & urgent Representations
