for not even telling me She intended to go, [[unclear]] me to the quick, for She assured me She could no longer lead the Life She had led & that [[unclear]] was of the same oppinion, & when Elyzabeth by defending Her own Conduct struck [[unclear]] [[addition]] in [[/addition]] a most violent manner upon a [[unclear]] Book saying She would take an Oath that She had done all in Her power to please it so provoked me that I did say after Violence I should not be surpized at Her given me next a Box at the Ear which gave Her an Hysterick fit, & they left me determined to report it the moment they came to I own. [[deletion]] which [[/deletion]] & moreover they added that they had mentioned what had passed on Saturday to the Ladies--. Whether this Conduct is what a Mother ought to expect from Her Children I leave to the judgements of those who have any. In short this last journey of theirs has given me a Blow
