[[note]] the Queen to the Prince Regent 4th Nov. 1813. [[/note]] My dearest Son. My first Occupation must be this Morning to Convey You my thanks for the beautiful present I received last Night, it is in every Sense so exquisitely Elegant that which most to admire the Taste or the Workmanship [[deletion]] was [[/deletion]] is very difficult for me to decide but I do not feel the same distrefs to exprefs how Sensibly I am of the kind & Affectionate Letter which accompanied this dear Gift & trust that I never shall forfeit [[unclear]] [[unclear]] deserve such a Blessing. The News of Yesterday are indeed of a Nature so great as to give us hopes that the matched state of the Continent must now draw near to an End of their Misery & I am Convinced that the Steadiness of this Government has greatly Contributed to the decided Past Our Allies have at last taken to oppose the Tyrannical oppression
