I am quite ashamed of the Duke of Mecklenbourg Schwerin's inattention, of not Notifying to You the Death of His Aunt, & I would not wish by any means that You should not against the rule of putting on Mo [[addition]] u [[/addition]] rning without the Proper Notification: I think You will laugh when I tell You that my Letter was without a Direction, & they it was quite by chance Mr Hamilton in the Foreign Office did find out who it was for. but my Cousin was always very odd & was famous for acting Contrary to what every Body else used to do. I have received a Letter from the Duke of Cumberland dated [[unclear]], I am sorry to say that He gives a very Indifferent account of my Brother Ernest who he says not only continues Ill, but is extreamly altered in looks since He left Him a very weak.
