My dearest Son. I have the Pleasure to Inform You that I have received a very kind Letter from Charlotte in answer to my Invitation for Fryday next. in which She begs leave to decline commg to Frogmore on account of Her Spirits not being equal to appear in Society as yet. She expresses Herself with a god deal of Feeling upon the Subject of not being of the party, yet at the same time leaving it to me to decide & that whatever my orders are She is ready to Obey them. You will I am sure agree with me that Her Delicacy of not appearing ought to be approved of & [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] Her request Granted, as it clearly Shews that She feels ashamed of why has passed, & lady Hehester who Dined with me
