Windsor the 27th/ Jany. 1816 My dearest Son. We are all greatly rejoiced by the good accounts we recieved from Lrd Bloomfield about Yr Amendment & are in Hopes that Sr. H. H. will not only be enabled to Confirm it but to Encourage Our Hopes & Expectations of a Speedy Recovery. I have not had the Pleasure of seeing Charlotte since Our return from Brighton but I had a Visit from Sr Short who assures me that She talks with great pleasure & Satisfaction of Her Visit to Brighton & Yr Kindness to Her-- She certainly by what I can find out keeps true to Her promise of
