& if it is possible to make Her feel before Marriage that tho the Prince becomes an Object of Consequence by Marrying Her, He must be the Head of Her Family and She Submit to Him, as His Wife, all will do well, & on His Side, He must be carefull not to give Her too great an Idea of Her own Consequence, nor by drawing in to make Promises before Marriage which He might (being Ignorant of the Customs & Manners of the Country) find difficulty to fullfill afterwards: Steadiness in His Character is the most to be wished for both parties, & as You will see him before any entrevue between them, pray Impress that Strongly upon His Mind
