My dearest Son. Notwithstanding the Promise You gave Me that I should hear early this Morning some account of Our dear Patient I cannot abstain taking up My Pen to return You thanks for Yr very kind Letter of last Night & to afsure You that the knowledge of Yr being at Bushy made me particularly Happy , I conjectured that You would do so the Moment You were apprized of the dangerous State Yr Brother was in when the Mefsenger was sent of, & that Yr comming there would be a comfort to dear William as also Insure Yr Protection to His Children of which the Eldest Seems by the Letter She wrote to Augusta to be extreamly affectionnate towards Her Fater
